Objective(s):Part A – The primary objective of this prospective, randomized phase II trial is to
compare the efficacy of a new maintenance treatment consisting of oral
lenalidomide with the oral procarbazine maintenance currently in use, in
elderly (≥70 years) patients with newly diagnosed PCNSL eligible to
receive HD-MTX-based induction chemo-immunotherapy.
Part B – The primary efficacy objective of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy of
concomitant chemo-immuno-radiotherapy administered as induction
treatment, followed by temozolomide maintenance in elderly (≥70 years)
patients with newly diagnosed PCNSL ineligible to receive HD-MTX-based
induction chemo-immunotherapy.
